Open House
Property Development // Kirrili Zimmer
This 1960’s clinker brick house was purchased for it’s open plan layout and potential for connection to it’s north facing courtyard. Within just four months Kirrili strategically transformed this house into a premium family home and placed it back on the market
“The double timber doors open to reveal a home that has been superbly renovated with the highest attention to detail. ”
Form
This original 1960’s, single level courtyard house was stripped internally and the floor plan was opened up to allow a large, central kitchen, open study and second living room to connect seamlessly to the refurbished pool and multiple courtyards.
The floor plan and selection of all finishes and fittings were to strictly adhere to the current demands of the market.
Function
Kirrili project managed this private investment conceptually, economically and practically through coordination of all trades on site.
Managing multiple personal investments has provided Kirrili with a deep understanding of the importance of budgets, timeframes and due diligence. This understanding and experience is applicable to renovations and new houses of all sizes and is carried through to all DUO Architectural projects.
